Stern’s newest adventure is live:
Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye
The time is here to journey into the Forgotten Realms of Dungeons & Dragons.
· The dragon queen, Tiamat, is hatching a plan to rise again, triggering the War of Dragons, with Xanathar, Balinor, and Sammaster all fighting for power.
· Play as your chosen member of the Dragonshield Guild.
· Choose from a Paladin, Wizard, Cleric, or Rogue, with the opportunity to unlock the Ranger, Barbarian or Bard through in-game progression.
· 50 years of the beloved Dungeons and Dragons franchise featured in tabletop
games, books, video games, and feature films enjoyed by hundreds of millions of people. This is their world, under glass, for you to visit 'for the first time'.
· Featuring iconic enemies including the Red Dragon, a gelatinous cube, the mimic, Sammaster the lich, Xanathar the beholder, and owl bear. Forgotten Realms locations include those in Faerun, including Arabel and Westgate.
· Voiced by a talented cast of D&D fans including Michael Dorn (worf), Kevin Smith (Silent Bob), Luke Gygax, Chris Prynoski, Brendon Small, Gerard Way, Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, and Marisha Ray of Critical Role fame...
Encounter the Red Dragon, the most advanced animatronic mech in pinball.
· Rath the dragon intelligently reacts to player action with multi-axis motion and features omnidirectional impact sensing technology (Multi-axis is on Premium/LE)
· Rath is voiced by Michael Dorn and he’ll verbally spar with the player – “You are not worthy”.
· Strike Rath with pinballs to defeat him, and hit the 3-bank target to steal his treasure
· The Dragon exhales multiple pinballs shooting from his mouth, fed by an
additional diverter path on the Premium and Limited versions.
· The player activated metal shield between the flippers defends against attacks and assists with playfield shots.
· The playfield has many ramp paths for players. Head into the red cave or take the bridge to see where it leads. Cascading ramps and loops help feed the upper flipper. The ball is held under the mountain to make choices.
· Strike the captive ball to roll a critical hit.
· Ever changing Dungeon crawl levels are accessed through a disappearing playfield trap door (on the Premium/Limited versions.
· The electromagnet-powered Gelatinous Cube freezes the ball.
· Taking a chance with the treasure chest feature may unleash a Mimic that will try to devour the player.
· Find the hidden temple behind the upper flipper to start double scoring.
· Use the Fizmo’s store feature to acquire interesting items from a very unique halfling.
· Take chances in the Tiny’s tavern playfield feature with a dice spinner and a vertical up kicker portal.
· The Mountain passage shot will lead the player further on the path unless the up-down ramp feature traps the ball in the gelatinous cube.
The ball is wild and so are dice rolls – Fusing Pinball and Dungeons & Dragons
· Player shots and choices control the path through the game’s campaign driving toward different “story endings” – finishing the game campaign unlocks additional characters.
· As in Dungeons & Dragons, each player’s path is different; randomness exists for
characters, trinkets, weekly items, weekly treasure chests, weekly dungeon layout, and Fizmo’s store.
· Players can choose to pick up where they left off with Stern’s new PinSave System,
including character experience points, inventory items, and game campaign progress.
· Local Cooperative play will allow the whole party to progress together during a game session.
· For players who want a traditional Pinball experience, they can start each game without saved progress.
· There will also be a tournament mode that ensures fair play.
All in a beautiful package with Insider Connected. Get Into The Game.
· Amazing cabinet, backglass, and playfield artwork by prolific artist Vince Proce who has previously worked on Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, as well as other Pinball, Videogames, and Films.
